Just How To Vote" leaflet.

Leaflet: "JUST HOW TO VOTE.” Philadelphia: Pennsylvania League of Women Voters, [1920].

Leaflet: 6"x 9"; printed both sides on light brown stock; pencil notation at upper margin, "Issued in fall of 1920”; lower margin has five or six tears and is crumpled along left edge; three closed tears to right margin; despite the tears, there has been no loss of text; good.

The leaflet gives specific details as to what is a qualified voter, what to do on election day, how to mark a ballot and notes she may ask for assistance if a disability makes it impossible for her to mark a ballot herself. Many women would be going to the polls for the first time and the League of Women Voters made it a priority to inform the new voters of what a ballot would look like and how to mark it correctly.
