Obywatelki i Obiwatele!

[Luxemburg, Rosa]. Obywatelki i Obiwatele! [no place, printer, or year, probably Zurich, Stanisław Gutt, 1902].

8vo; printed broadside; one vertical fold, lightly browned.

A political flyer issued by the S.D.K.P.I.L., appealing to the bourgeoisie to raise funds for the political prisoners and their families in Poland and those sent to Siberia. Written in a style reminiscent of Luxemburg's Letters from Prison, (Briefe aus dem Gefängnis, 1920) with its richness of detail and description of the thoughts and emotions of a political prisoner.

At the end of the text, after the concluding appeal 'Relief Fund for the political prisoners and exiled' is pasted a printed slip, which gives two addresses where to send the donations: Stanisław Gutt, the socialist printer, and Madame Laura Marx-Lafargue (daughter of Karl Marx) in Dovreil, near Paris.
