Salient points from Taylor’s address to the House in which, based on Colorado and its experience of woman suffrage, he refutes key anti-suffrage arguments, i.e., that suffrage encourages ‘bad women’ to vote, doubles the criminal vote, and increases the divorce rate. In short, "I do not know of any bad effects whatever that woman suffrage had had in the State of Colorado, and I do know of enough good that they have accomplished to fill volumes.”
