First edition: Crane DD Appendix 2. Cather composed the unsigned “Biographical Sketch.” The “English Opinion” is by Alexander Porterfield, reprinted from the March 1926 issue of The London Mercury. This pamphlet was issued by Knopf to coincide with the publication of My Mortal Enemy; it was expanded and reprinted twice, in 1933 and 1941. The first edition is uncommon.
