Habitual Criminal Registry form for Emmeline Pankhurst, HCR No. M. 19425, with an original photo attached and alongside written in red ink, denoting Special Branch: "original supplied by Special Branch" with her Special Branch number also entered in red ink, "Spl. Branch Reg. 6808 1/72 in the place for "Remarks". Other entries on this form typed or in black ink with a list of convictions in chronological order, with date, offense, and sentence. Mrs. Pankhurst is listed as "about 56", with "dark brown, turning grey" hair, and her occupation is "Hon. Treasurer W.S.P.U." Mrs. Pankhurst was found guilty of "Obstructing Police, Inciting to riot, obst. Police & assault, damaging windows, conspiracy with others (two times).” Her last sentence was for three years and was imposed on March 3, 1914. A further note added, "License revoked by S[ecretary] of S[tate] & committed to Prison to Undergo the remaining portion of her sentence." One page, folio, with original photograph mounted, stamped at the foot "Spare Form," punched holes for filing, some age-toning, minor signs of wear, else very good.
Habitual Criminal Registry form for Sylvia Pankhurst, HCR Prison Register No. 663, with an original photo attached and signed by the Governor of Holloway Prison. Sylvia Pankhurst is listed as an "Artist" with "Pale" complexion. Miss Pankhurst was found guilty of "Inciting public to commit crime" and was sentenced to three months August 7, 1913. An additional note adds, "Several summons for damage, etc." One page, folio, with original photo mounted, stamped at foot "Spare Form," punch holes for filing, some age toning and minor wear, paper-clip stain to photo, else very good.
Habitual Criminal Registry form for Annie Kenny, [sic] Prison Register No. 4165, with original photo attached and signed by the Governor of Holloway Prison and dated August 18, 1913, listing her crimes as "Conspiracy" and "3 Summaries for Obstruction," inscribed in red ink, indicating copy reserved for Special Branch, "Finer impression taken when last discharged under the Act," with stamp below photo in oval, "Habitual Criminals / Registry / 19 Jul. 1913", noted at the top of the form, "Temporary discharge under Prisoners / (temporary discharge for Ill health) Act 1913." One page, folio, with original photograph mounted, stamped at foot "Spare Form," punched holes for filing, some age toning, minor signs of wear, else very good.
