Broadside, 10.5 X 6"; light creases from folding.

Reprints the letters by Mrs. Mary Bentley Thomas of Maryland, to the Governors of Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Colorado. The four Governors which Thomas addressed her letters and questions to governed the first four states to pass voting for women. This broadside reprints the replies to the four questions Thomas asked the Governors: "Are your women as devoted to house and home interest as formerly, and are they as good wives and mothers as before they voted?", "Is marriage less common or divorce more so than ten years ago?", "Do your best men object to women at the polls or in the office, and do the latter seek office to any great extent?", "Has there been any direct benefit or injury to your state from the woman element in politics, and if so, what are they?".
