First edition. Deluxe edition, 1/350 copies signed by Gertrude Stein and Clement Hurd. The World Is Round, her first children’s book, has word play and rhymes and repetition, but here such repetitions capture how children have fun with language. The text and the exuberant illustrations are truly engaging. An attractive copy of this charming volume. Wilson A32b.
