Lady Geraldine's Speech.

The Woman's Press, no date [1909?] Green paper printed wraps, dusted and slightly worn, 16pp. ex. wraps, minor chips, staples rusted, fair-good. A play in which a female doctor asserts that she's "a Suffragist, a Suffragette, a militant". The inside cover has information about the National Women's Social and Political Union (the Committee, statement of policy, etc), the back cover advertsiers "Votes for Women", inside back a list of Woman's Press publications. This play is not mentioned in the Oxford DNB biography, nor Wikipedia. Very scarce. One copy recorded by COPAC at Cambridge. WorldCat records copies at Yale and Harvard, NY. Brown and Gottingen
