member Brunhild Grainger – with her manuscript annotations on the verso.
Women Decorators offer range of jobs from carpentry to electrical work, “Country Work a
Speciality.” The typed list of jobs with prices headed “Carpentry & Decorative Work,” include
distempering a ceiling, putting up a shelf, supplying table lamp etc, total £5.7.6. On the verso is a
manuscript list mainly of female first names and another of objects like Book, Book Case, blotter,
Picture.
