First edition of these proceedings, “phonographically recorded” and transcribed for distribution by the Committee. This copy bears the stamp of the New York Public Library’s Astor, Lenox and Tilden Foundations 1901, and was apparently later deaccessioned. Officers appointed at this convention include President Lucy Stone; six Vice Presidents including Lucretia Mott, Rev. T.W. Higginson, A. Bronson Alcott, and others; three Secretaries, including Martha C. Wright, the President of the previous convention; and a Business Committee comprised of Ernestine L. Rose, Susan B. Anthony (who was also in charge of Finance), Wendell Phillips (who was also Treasurer), Higginson, and three others. What follows are transcriptions of addresses, letters, reports, and resolutions.
