BROADSIDE: New York, Circle of Friends.
[NEW YORK, CIRCLE OF FRIENDS]. [np,: nd.
Broadside, approximately 13 x 19 in., printed in black, edges little toned, small piece of tape on the top margin, the name of Nin's feidn, poet and editor of Voyages, William Claire, has been added in pen, very good.
We have not seen listed anywhere, nor is it in the Franklin "Anais Nin: A bibliography. This prints the name "New Yoek" in a circle in the middle of the sheet with radiated arms with names of Nin's associates spiraling out like rays of sunshine. The bottom has a caption by Nin: "When I tried to map out the characters which appear in the diary it occured to me that the relaitonships formed a constellation similar to the planets ... The revolutions of friendships, their displacements, thier voyages, could only be recorded by this vast web. And I came to the drawing of planets, and each one surrounded by names of friends and the central core of their activities."
