To the 8,000,000 Working Women in the United States.

National American Woman Suffrage Association. Broadside: "To the 8,000,000 Working Women in the United States.” New York City: National American Woman Suffrage Association, [c. 1917].

Broadside: 7-1/4 x 10-1/2"; printed black on light green stock (one side); lower left tip lacking; some edgewear; very good.

The broadside asks working women if they are satisfied with their working and living conditions and points out that they lack a key weapon that working men have to affect these conditions: the vote. The title refers to Rheta Childe Dorr’s groundbreaking What 8,000,00 Women Want. Though Franklin does not cite it, this likely was issued as part of the continuing Rainbow Series.
