Which Side Are You On?

Taylor, Edward T[homas] and John Francis Neyian. Small Broadside: "Which Side Are You On?" New York: Empire State Campaign Committee, [c. 1915].

Broadside: 6-7/8 x 10"; printed on green stock (one side); fading along top margin; very good.

Pro-suffrage statements by Congressman Edward T. Taylor of Colorado and John Francis Neyian, Chairman State Board of Control, Sacramento, California. Taylor points out "[e]very gambler, every ballot-box stuffer, every political thug, every dive-keeper, every depraved denizen of the red-light districts and all of their associates, everyone who is opposed to public decency…is viciously and desperately opposed to women being enfranchised…" Likewise, Neyian underscores that in Calfornia woman suffrage has raised the moral standard of public life.
