Sole contemporary printing of a film treatment describing the plot of both a novel and a film about a woman who develops murderous feelings following the end of an affair. With the author’s inscription at the top of the first leaf “Monroe darling – this is my first moving picture outline which is most certainly going to be made into a picture. So keep this for comparison, with my love – (Katherine Anne.) It was George who heckled me into sending it, saying you would be interested. 6 March 1947, Santa Monica – Full Moon”. Not indexed in Hill & Alvarez but present in an unknown format in the Porter archive at the University of Maryland.
