It's Been Fun: An Autobiography.

Meyer, Annie Nathan. It’s Been Fun An Autobiography. New York: Henry Schuman, 1951.

8vo.; illustrated with half tone photos of the author and her husband; light blue cloth, stamped in dark blue; dust-jacket; light edgewear.

First edition of Meyer’s memoir. Her autobiography, published in the last year of her life, details her various activities. She was, for example, the Chairman of the Committee on Literature for the World’s Fair Women’s Congress of 1893. She was the author of many plays and active part of New York’s theater scene. Of course, her struggle to found Barnard College is detailed and is, perhaps, the event for which she is most remembered. A fascinating life, interestingly related.
