First edition of this collection of poems by Woolson. Throughout her career, Woolson created an impressive quantity of work, ranging from short stories to novels in her later years, and is regarded today as an important influence on both the Feminist movement and literary realism movement. Her book Two Women: 1862 represents her work from her early years as a writer.
