LETTER: Autograph letter signed, "Eliz. P. Peabody," to "My dear Miss Booth," n.d., Hartford, CT.
ALS, "Eliz. P. Peabody," to "My dear Miss Booth," n.d., Hartford, CT.
8vo.; one leaf, four pages.
Peabody writes in a slightly larger, hastier, and less legible hand about her upcoming schedule of travels with her Indian friend. After a visit at the home of Senator Dawes they will head to New York, and hope to visit the recipient of this letter after that. Her friend's husband is on the Indian Commission, and she hopes that Miss Booth can arrange for persons of note to meet with her. Her daughter, meanwhile, is to arrange a meeting at the Woman's Club.
